Katie and I decided to take our kids (minus Cinco) to Las Vegas for a little Spring Break adventure. We left Monday, April 12th and came home Wednesday, April 14th--our time was short, but our adventures were BIG!
And WE ARE OFF!
Tilley-Claire had never flown before, so she was super excited to get on her first airplane! We were all excited for her too. Of course she wanted to sit with Katie...her best friend in the entire world!
The big girls getting ready for take off!
T.T. is all smiles and ready to go!
I love this picture of T.T. and Kate's hands!
We left a chilly and winter-like Reno...we are hoping for a sunny Las Vegas!
As we were walking around we came upon this store with all of these great Vegas style glasses.
Yes, these are BOOBS on Benjamin's head! He actually didn't even realize what they were when he put them on. Kate and I were dying laughing!
We hit the arcade at New York, New York when the roller coaster was shut down!
The M&M store was one of my personal favorites.
We stayed at the Mandalay Bay because we heard they had the best pool. It was true our pool day was one of our favorite days.
Only in Vegas can you get a tattoo poolside!
UNEXPECTED ADVENTURE!
We are still not sure what exactly happened, but Benjamin busted open his chin in the wave pool. It provided a lot of excitement.
The girls were extremely concerned about their buddy.
Katie remained very calm, cool and collected during the whole thing, however, I knew she was freaking out a little. She had the option to take an ambulance or a taxi cab...she opted ambulance in hopes of a quicker response at the hospital. We had Lion King tickets for this night and we were somewhat concerned they would not make it back in time for the show.
They made it just in time! A three hour hospital visit and six stitches later and never a tear shed my buddy made it back! He did sleep through the entire show do to all of the medicine they had given him. He had this sweet smile on his face through the whole ordeal...I love this kid!
TOTAL ROOKIE MOVE!
Neither Kate nor I packed a drop of sunscreen. So towards the end of the day we decided we should probably go buy some, the smallest tube was like $25.00 and it wasn't big enough to cover all of our kids...obviously. It was snowing when we left home, we didn't even think about sunscreen. Sorry girls!
Some Vegas hot spots!
This guy scared us to death! We walked close to him and he tapped, tapped, tapped his cane at us.
